Security of Data Is Our Top Priority

ResidentRated cares about our users’ privacy and data security. For the security of our data, we follow both Microsoft security best practices, including Microsoft architecture with local group policy security settings and OWASP guidelines. The ResidentRated sites are in a data center that is SOC1, SOC2 and SOC3 compliant. All connections are TPS with 256 bit encryption. No clear text is passed when authenticating. Our data practices include:

• User authentication
• HTTPS data transmission with encryption
• Enterprise-grade hosting facilities
• Continuous monitoring
• User access accounts on the servers are audited and controlled daily
• Client data is stored in a SQL database and access is controlled by group policy security settings
